As a member of the Bethesda team, you’ll not only make a difference by supporting people with disabilities, but you’ll have the opportunity to make one-of-a-kind connections with others, from the people we support and their families to fellow staff, volunteers and community members.
The most critical and impactful role for people we support is that of a Direct Support Professional:
Many people go to work every day, wondering if they’re making a difference.
But when you’re a Direct Support Professional, you know you are.
As a DSP with Bethesda, you’ll assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities with their daily needs and activities. Through your work, you’ll have the opportunity to help the people we support live lives filled with choice, faith, dignity and limitless potential.
See how one of our DSPs, Shyeanne, is making a difference for Arlene, a person we support in California.
Anyone can be a DSP. There is no special training required. Bring to work your empathy, compassion, good judgment and reliability—and we’ll pay you while you learn everything you need to succeed on the job.
Bethesda also has many retail, operations and corporate roles that contribute to our mission.
